Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police were dispatched to the Dover High School at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, when two non-specific bomb threats were made over the phone.
The Sheriff's Office said that because the threats were not specific to a specific school or building, the high school, Middle School and both elementary schools in the district were evacuated and searched by investigators, who found no suspicious devices or packages.
Students were back in class shortly after 11 a.m. The investigation into the threats is ongoing. Further information is expected to be released by the Sheriff's Office later on Wednesday afternoon. Keep following Daily Voice for updates.
